IND vs SA, 2nd T20I, Highlights: IND win by 16 runs; seal series with game to go in Indore

All over! It was too much of an ask for the Proteas and they have succumbed to a 16-run defeat. Got to feel for David Miller. He fought like a champion and slammed an unbeaten 100. Did not get any support from his mates though. 

Good performance from India. All seems well in the batting department. But is it all okay with their bowling? I don't think so. The caravan now moves to Indore where the teams will meet for the third and final T20I on October 4. 

Well, QDK has also reached to his fifty. He would wanted to play way faster here. The ask is way too much and it is fair to say that unless something drastic happens, it is all over for SA.

Something to celebrate for South Africa. David Miller has fought like a champion and has raced away to fifty off 25 balls. Still a lot of achieve though. 

De Kock and Miller have taken their time to settle things down a bit. They both have played considerable balls and would now want to go as hard as they can. They need over 16 runs an over from now on, and needless to say, it is going to be a horrendous ask.

South Africa haven't really gotten off to the kind of start they would have been hoping for. Axar Patel has now dismissed Markram, and South Africa are now staring at a big loss. 

Alright, the lights are on and so is the game.

One of the flood lights has stopped functioning, and the match is halted for the same reason.

Alright, Deja Vu for South Africa. They have lost 2 in no time and Arshdeep is on fire, Bavuma and Rossouw are back in the hut.

Powered by DK's heroics in the end, India have put up a massive 237 on board. Can SA chase it? 

SKY has been run-out after a magnificent 61. What a player! Seems like it was the only way for him to get out today. 

South Africa have no clue what has hit them. Got to feel for them. Suryakumar Yadav has hit them like a raging bull and have left them shell-shocked. Virat too has joined the action and South Africa are looking at a mammoth total to chase here. Absolute madness in Guwahati.

Well well well... Sky has hit another 50, and this time it has come off just 18 balls. I am lost for adjectives. A legend in the making. That's all that I want to say. 

Suryakumar Yadav has become the 3rd fastest Indian to reach the 1k-run milestone in the shortest format of the game. He is hitting it so well. An absolute treat to watch.

Sky and Kohli have now joined the party. Kohli seemed like taking a bit of a time, but his boundary on the very last ball of the 14th over made it clear that he too isn't going to wait long. Exciting times ahead. 

Rahul was looking to play a sweep shot but he got beaten in the air. Was a wee bit early into the shot and the ball hit him on the pads. He took the review and the ball-tracking showed the ball crashing onto the leg stump. 

A solid...solid knock from Rahul. He is back to his best. Played a handy knock in the 1st T20I on a tough pitch and has carried on from there. These are great signs for India.

The captain is back in the hut. He has holed it out to mid-wicket. Good knock though. He has helped lay a solid foundation for the likes of Pant and Karthik to exploit.

This is tremendous hitting from the opening duo. It's fours and sixes all around. Rohit has come into his own, and both of them are nearing their fifty. 

This is a really good start from India. Both of them have complemented each other to perfection. Rahul is playing a blinder here on a tough pitch. Rohit, too, is starting to find the middle of the bat. SA should be worried. 

Well,  both openers are now trying to play their shots. Two lusty maximums and a boundary have put India on top here. South Africa would want to be careful not to leak many runs in the Powerplay. 

India are off to a sedate start. The pitch seems slow and the bounce too is low. Doesn't seem like a 200-run pitch. Both Rahul and Rohit though have taken their chances. The runs haven't come off the middle of the bat. 

Rohit Sharma seemed to have hurt his finger while trying to play a scoop shot. The ball hit him right on his finger. The medical staff is out there with the magic spray. Let's hope for the best.
