Colombo, Jan 3: Sri Lanka's selectors Tuesday recalled bowlers Nuwan Kulasekara and Rangana Herath to a 15-member one-day international squad to play South Africa this month.
The seamer and left-arm spinner were dropped for the Pakistan series last month.
Also the selectors have picked 22-year-old batsman Lahiru Thirmanne 18 months after he played his last one-day match.
Chamara Silva, Jeevan Mendis, Seekkuge Prasanna and Suraj Randiv, who were part of an 18-member squad that played Pakistan in November, have been dropped.
Sri Lanka plays South Africa in a five-match one-day international series starting January 11.
