New Delhi: Caribbean leg spinner Samuel Badree has moved up to the no.1 position in the latest ICC T20 bowler rankings replacing his teammate Sunil Narine. He is certainly a key bowler for West Indies which can guide them in defending their title.Know more about this magical spinner:Badree is the third highest wicket taker in the ongoing World T20 with 11 wickets in 5 matches at an economy of 5.65.His efforts have helped him gain 109 ratings points to finish on 855, 45 ratings points ahead of teammate Narine.Before the tournament started, Badree was just 1 point behind by Sunil Narine.He had picked up 29 wickets at an economy of 5.44 in 19 T20 internationals he had played.Badree has been bought by the Rajasthan Royals team for the IPL 2013 but featured only in one match in his debut IPL season. In players auction for IPL 2014 he was bought by Chennai Super Kings for Rs. 30 lakhs (Rs. 3 Million).He was named in the initial 32-player roster for the Stanford Superstars and was the Man of the Match in Trinidad & Tobago's victory against Barbados in the WICB Cup final in 2008.Although he didn't make the final cut for the Stanford Superstars, Badree was part of the Trinidad & Tobago team that beat Middlesex to win a jackpot of US$280,000 in the Stanford Super Series.
