He made his IPL debut in 2013 where he played against Delhi Daredevils. Till date he has played nine matches in which he took thirteen wickets. Tambe's best bowling performance was in a match in which he took four wickets by giving only fifteen runs. He is pretty economical in his bowling. He has bowling economy of under six at 5.55
