New Delhi: Seshrao Krushnarao Wankhede was a politician and cricket administrator of Mumbai, after whom the Wankhede stadium was named near Churchgate in South Mumbai.
The ground is famous among cricket fans because of the fact that this is master blaster Sachin Tendulkar's homeground.
