Till the beginning of this year he was in the list of most eligible bachelors of India but it was On 16 April 2013, when he got engaged to Delhi-based fashion designer Tanya Wadhwa at his Ramdaspeth flat in the afternoon a day before his team plays Bangalore at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.
Later on 29th May Tanya made him her's forever, both of them tied the love knot on the day.
