Mumbai, Mar 8 : Bollywood star Katrina Kaif has said that reports that she has been approached to be the face of Pune and Kochi IPL teams were "untrue".
She was reacting to reports in a section of the media, that she has been approached to be the face of Indi Commandos (IPL Kochi) and Pune Warriors (Pune IPL team).
Katrina's spokesperson, in a statement, said the actress is not part of any IPL team this year."She is not a part of this 2011, IPL season nor were there any talks on her been brand ambassador for any team. The reports doing the rounds are absolutely baseless and untrue.
Katrina will be shooting for Yash Raj Film's 'Mere Brother Ki Dulhan' which is why she opted out of the Bangalore team (Bangalore Royal Challengers) also," the spokesperson said.
"Being a thorough professional Katrina would never want to take anything that she cannot give her 100 per cent to or do full justice to. She is committed to the Yash Raj Film, so being the brand ambassador for any of the IPL teams is out of question," the spokesperson added. PTI
