New Delhi : The most successful captain who has won every major ICC trophy for Team India and has taken the team to new heights, seems to lose his Midas touch. MS Dhoni is third in terms of most test losses overseas after Stephen Fleming and Brian Lara.
It looks like a thing of history when he won the World Cup with a six. He was seen as a captain who could do no wrong. There was a time not so long ago when in the eyes of BCCI officials, Mahendra Singh Dhoni meant a story of success and win.
But things have now changed with all the batting greats like Sachin, Dravid , Sourav had retired and Dhoni was given the task of building a new Team India 2.0.
Dhoni seems like he is not able to get his acts together as Team India is getting drubbed one after another series outside the Indian subcontinent.The honeymoon period between Dhoni and BCCI also seemed to hit a rough patch in the recent times.The most powerful cricket body of the world BCCI seems to believe that the Indian skipper has got too big for his shoes; too powerful and he needs to be cut down to size.
