  • Delhi makes it 7.25 Cr and SRH stays in the bid with 8.25 Cr. After a fierce battle, SRH is in the race with 10 Cr but Delhi goes ahead with 10.75 Cr.
  • Chennai enters the bid at 11.00 Cr and it stays in the lead with 12.50 Cr. Delhi is not backing out as it raises the paddle but Chennai wants Chahar as the yellow brigade takes the lead with 13.00 Cr. 
  • Rajasthan Royals enter the party with 13.25 Cr but Chennai is back with 13.50 Cr and goes the distance with 14.00 Cr.

  • SRH starts the bid with Gujarat raising the paddle and it's Gujarat and Hyderabad in the fray.

IPL 2022: Foreign players who could start a bidding war

The IPL is entering a new era in its 15th edition as the tournament will see a tussle of 10 franchises from now on. Ahead of IPL 2022, the teams will enter a bidding war during the auction on February 12 and 13 in Bengaluru. As many as 590 players will be going under the hammer during the auction of the cash-rich league.

The mega auction ahead of Indian Premier League 2022 (IPL 2022) is just around the corner and all the 10 franchises are gearing up to handpick players from a group of 590 players (370 Indian, 220 overseas). Out of these 590 cricketers, 228 are capped players, 355 are uncapped players and seven belong to Associate Nations. With the addition of two new teams to the cash-rich league, the fans will get to see more bidding wars.
