In the current season of IPL we have seen some of the local players performing stupendously. It has broken all the age barriers – from 42 year old Pravin Tambe to 19 year old Sanju Samson, they have shown age is not the limit to showcase your talent.India TV would like you to meet the hidden Indian faces who are successful in impressing the crowd around the world:1) SANJU SAMSON (RAJASTHAN ROYALS)On one side there is 42 year old and just opposite there is a 19 year old kid Sanju Samson who has been a bad dream for many bowlers like Dale Steyn in IPL 7. He made these fast bowlers so simple to play that even senior players might consider his art of batting.He comes as the opening batsman for RR and in 10 matches he scored 233 runs at the strike rate of 121 with the best score of 52. With the kind of form he is in, he certainly deserves a place in Team India.2) YUZVENDRA CHAHAL (ROYAL CHALLENGERS BANGALORE)The 23 year old leg break bowler from RCB also terrorized many big names in cricket with his tight line and length. In 10 matches he sent 12 batsmen back to pavilion with an economy rate of 6.48. A former junior-level chess player for India, Chahal has been exclusively carrying the load of the spin-bowling department.3) SANDEEP SHARMA (KINGS XI PUNJAB)The 20 year old medium pace bowler of the table toppers Kings XI Punjab went wicketless in only one match out of eight matches he played. He picked up 14 wickets so far in IPL 7 with an economy of 8.28. He is the kind of bowler which the team would not like to put out of the squad. However he proved to be very costly for Kings XI in the game against Sunrisers Hyderabad where he flooded 65 runs in his four overs and got only 1 wicket. 4) VARUN AARON (ROYAL CHALLENGERS BANGALORE)In the IPL, Aaron's nagging accuracy has been the most heartening aspect of his bowling. Consistently clocking in excess of 145 clicks and hustling the batters with well-directed bouncers, Aaron has been the second highest wicket-taker for RCB with 12 wickets in 8 games. Keeping the momentous overseas tours of England and Australia in mind, Aaron's stellar form should thoroughly delight the selectors. 5) ISHWAR PANDEY (CHENNAI SUPER KINGS)Though he may not be able to get much success in IPL so far, but the kind of variation he uses, the kind of deliveries he bowls has certainly impressed his skipper M. One cannot forget his innings of 56 runs against RCB which he scored while chasing a daunting target of 191 runs. He gave a solid start and set the platform for other batsmen to take the team to an emphatic victory. He also played an innings of unbeaten 73 runs against Delhi Daredevils. With 221 runs he scored at the strike rate of 126.28 in 8 matches he is certainly a very smart purchase made by the franchisee this year.7) MOHIT SHARMA (CHENNAI SUPER KINGS)The medium pace bowler from CSK has showed his worth by taking 18 wickets in 10 matches with an economy of 7.86. His best figures so far in the tournament is 4/14 against Mumbai Indians. He shares the record of maximum wickets in this IPL with Bhuvneshwar Kumar of Sunrisers Hyderabad who also has 18 wickets in 10 matches with same best bowling figures. The shoulder injury to all-rounder Dwayne Bravo meant that CSK desperately needed someone to put their hand up to bowl at the death.8) SURYAKUMAR YADAV (KOLKATA KNIGHT RIDERS)Suryakumar Yadav comes as a breath of fresh air for Indians groaning about the lack of flair in country's batting talent. Sweep, reverse sweep, ramp shot – all these shots look fine as long as they are played to a spinner. This is Suryakumar Ashok Yadav for you; not afraid to unfurl his outrageous audacity against the quicker men.Horrible showing by the finishers in the KKR setup has meant that Yadav has had to take care of the innings at the end on most occassions. He's been extremely impressive so far in the journey - averaging over 42 and striking at 138.04 after scoring 127 runs in 10 matches.9) RAJAT BHATIA (RAJASTHAN ROYALS)Rajat Bhatia is an all-rounder which KKR might be regretting to lose in this year's auction. He has been performing consistently with both bat and ball. He has the ability to play some crucial knocks for the team and pick up important wickets. In 11 matches he managed to put 12 wickets in his pocket with an economy rate of 7.17.10) PRAVIN TAMBE (RAJASTHAN ROYALS)The old gun from Rajasthan Royals, Pravin Tambe is 42 years old; the age when maximum players decide to quit cricket but he is playing the shortest and most energetic form of cricket. He is the players who got selected in RR squad last year even after not playing a single first class match. He has been performing impressive in this season including a match winning hat-trick against Kolkata Knight Riders, the first of the IPL 7. He went wicketless in just two RR matches and bagged 15 wickets in 11 matches with an economy rate of just under 7. Though his age may be the factor that he cannot make it to Team India but he has been an inspiration for the young players.
