Hamilton: In the 2 ODI match which was played between India and New Zealand on Wednesday, an Indian origin man caught Corey Anderson's six on the long off boundary single handedly to win NZ $100,000.
In a campaign started by local brewer, Tui has announced before the West Indies-New Zealand series that anyone who catch a six single handedly wearing a unique orange t-shirt will get NZ $100,000 as prize money.
During the 2nd ODI match between India and New Zealand, Corey Anderson smashed Ishant Sharma'a delivery over long off and Jatinder Singh caught the ball single handedly.
Earlier during West Indies- New Zealand's 4th ODI match a Kiwi fan also took catch in the same area which was hit by Kieron Powell of Windies.
Jatinder Singh is a student in Waikato University and reside in Te Aroha, New Zealand.
On the catch he said, "To be honest, I got up and didn't think it was going to make it as far as me,".
"I thought it was going to land short, so then I sort of gave up on it, and then it kept going and next thing I know it was in my right hand. "Really, it happened so fast. I started jumping up and down; that's not me. Normally I am quite reserved."He added.
