New Delhi: BCCI announced the dates and venues of the upcoming West Indies tour to India to be played in October-Novermber 2014. The exclusive information was posted by BCCI in their official twitter account. The series is scheduled to begin on October 8, four days after CLT20 ends and will last till the 19th of November and will be held in venues throughout the country.
The One-Day International (ODI) series will begin on October 8 in Kochi, following which Vishakhapatnam will host the second ODI on Octorber 11, Cuttack will host the third ODI on October 14, Kolkata the fourth on October 17, and finally Dharamsala will host the final ODI on October 20.
The solitary T20I will be held in Delhi on October 22. The three Tests will be held in Hyderabad (Oct 30-Nov 3), Bangalore (Nov 7- 11), and Ahmedabad (Nov 15-19).
Eden Gardens and Dharamsala hosted their last one dayers in December 2012 (vs Pakistan) and January 2013 (vs England) respectively.
For Kotla, it will be the first T20 International that the ground will host, having staged its first ODI back in 1982.
