London: Alastair Cook's wretched batting form continued at Lord's when he fell for 10 as England slumped to 51-2 against India at lunch on day two of the second test on Friday.
Cook edged a Bhuvneshwar Kumar delivery behind to Mahendra Singh Dhoni which he should have left. He swiped his bat up in the air in dismay as the Lord's crowd fell silent.
Sam Robson, dropped on 8 by Ajinkya Rahane two balls before Cook's dismissal, reached 17 before becoming Kumar's second wicket, Dhoni again taking the catch.
Gary Balance, on 7, is at the crease with Ian Bell, 11.
India's first innings ended on 295 in the second over of the day when Mohammed Shami edged Ben Stokes to Cook. Shami and India added five to their overnight total, Shami finishing with 19. Ishant Sharma was 12 not out.
