Johannesburg: Kohli missed out on his second century by four runs as India reached 358/6 at lunch on fourth day of the first test against Australia here at Wanderers. India lead by 394 runs now with four wickets still remaining.

Resuming at 284/2 this morning, India lost Pujara after over night not aout batsmen added just 21 runs to the total. Pujara nicked Kallis to the wicket keeper AB de Villiers. He added 18 runs to his score overnight score of 135. His 153 included 21 hits to the fence. Pujara and Kohli combined for 222 for the third wicket. It was Pujara's fourth score over 150 in his six centuries in 16 tests.

After Pujara's departure, Roht Sharma joined Kohli but lasted just 19 deliveries for his contribution fo 6 runs. He might consider himself unlucky as Kallis in coming delivery kept very low and hit the stumps.

Now all eyes were on Virat Kohli, who was unbeaten 77 yesterday, but after doing hard work and seeing off dale Steyn, he was  caught behind the wicket off Duminy while trying to cut him. He fell four short of his ton what could have been his second consecutive century in this test.

Rahane and Dhoni took the score to 358 before Duminy once again struck and had Rahane, the second highest scorer in the first inning after Kohli, caught at first slip.

Kallis is the most successful bowler, taking three wickets in second Indian inning followed by Duminy who has taken two wickets.
