New Delhi, Jan 21: Team India has regained its No.1 spot in ODI rankings after scoring wins over England in Kochi and Ranchi.
The world champions in ODI are No.1 with 119 points, followed by England with 118 points and South Africa third with 116 points.
Sri Lanka and Australia tie for the fourth place with 111 points each.
In the ODI rankings as on January 20, India has notched 4279 from 36 matches, while England scored 3316 from 28 matches.
Before the series with England began, India were placed third and England were second behind South Africa, but after the Rajkot defeat, India swung back into the game with wins in Kochi and Ranchi, whereas South Africa surprisingly lost to New Zealand.
