Kochi, Jan 13 : Indian and English cricketers reached Kochi by a special chartered flight on Saturday evening.
Both the teams accompanied by officials reached at around 6:45 pm.
India will play the second one-day international against England at the Jawaharlal Nehru stdium here on Tuesday.
The teams will have separate practise sessions on Sunday and Monday followed by a press briefing by both the team captains.
Before the match chief pitch curator P.R Vishwanath inspected the ground and the pitch. He said he was satisfied with the pitch.
