Jubilant
Rohit Sharma, who batted superbly in his chanceless 141 not out, said India felt comfortable chasing anything Australia can offer this series.
"I knew we had the batting line-up to chase any total," Sharma said after the match.
"And with the newly introduced rules where five fielders have to be inside the ring, any total can be chased.
Having big partnerships is the key and that is what we did."
"It is India's best chase ever that I have been part of, and I am very happy that I contributed towards it."
Sharma's comments are consistent with the tactics of his captain
MS Dhoni at the toss.
