It's all over in Delhi. India win by 7 wickets. Gill fell just 1 run short of a fifty, but he would have wanted to be there. Anyways, India win the series 2-1.

Despite a late start, it looks like we are going to have a good game as rain for now is not a barrier factor.

The trick has worked for India as Washington Sundar sends De Kock packing for 6.

Washington Sundar all but does the trick for India but De Kock is lucky to escape.

Mohammed Siraj is one of the candidates in focus for the T20 World Cup and will have a point to prove.

The Indian cricket team has won the toss and have opted to bowl first. No changes for the hosts, while SA have made three changes. Keshav Maharaj, Kagiso Rabada and Wayne Parnell have missed. Marco Jansen, Andile Phehlukwayo and Lungi Ngidi are in. Notably, David Miller is leading SA in Maharaj and Bavuma's absence.

So, good news coming in for the fans. The inspection has yielded a positive result for the game. Toss will happen at 1:45 PM. Match will start at 2:15 and it will be a full game.

As things stand the umpires are monitoring the situation closley and the next inspection will take place at 1:30 whcih therefore means the toss will take place after 1:30 PM and the start will be  delayed

Shikhar Dhawan is certainly gearing up for the contest, but it looks like Keshav Maharaj will join him for the toss with just 15 minutes to go.

The players are warming out while Shikhar Dhawan aka the local boy will be ready to lead the team to a series win. But his form is not that great and there is no better place to get it back in the decider.

India have lost only once in ODIs at the Arun Jaitley Stadium since 2005. But that defeat came in their last outing here in 2019 when Australia beat them by 35 runs. 

The good thing for the fans is that the rain gods are kind at the moment and we can expect a good game today with minimum chances of showers. The weather has not been kind in Delhi and the NCR for last one week or so, but the sun is out at the moment.
