New Delhi: After breaking the record of most stumpings by any wicketkeeper in international cricket, Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni's ODI stint continues as he is set to break yet another record.

India registered their second win at Trent Bridge on Saturday in the ongoing ODI series against England to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the 5-match series and with this he equaled former India skipper Mohammad Azharuddin's record of 90 ODI wins, the most by an Indian captain.

Azharuddin as an Indian skipper won 90 matches out of 174 between 1990 and 1999 while Dhoni arguably a best Indian captain took only 161 matches in only 7 years of time. With two ODIs still left in the series, he is set to become India's most successful captain and he is not away from becoming the first Indian to lead the country in 100 ODI victories.

His record as a captain against England is also impressive. Out of 24 games with a winning percentage of 73.91, India won 16 and lost five with two tied and one no-result. The win in Third ODI at Trent Bridge was India's seventh successive win in England since the Champions Trophy last year.

In the same game he also registered the record of most international stumpings (131) in international cricket beating Kumar Sangakkara who has 129 stumpings. Dhoni achieved his milestone in 381 matches, Sangakkara took 563 matches to get there.

Meanwhile he was also criticized for his captaincy after the 1-3 humiliating test series defeat in the ongoing tour to England but his performance with the bat and with the gloves behind the stump has been consistent. But the biggest challenge for him will be to defend the World Cup title next year in Australia.

The spinners are doing good job for India and the team is just one win away to seal the series and for first bilateral ODI series win in England in 24 years.
