New Delhi, May 17: BJP MP from Amritsar and former cricketer Navjot Singh Sidhu today objected to some politicians describing the Indian Premier League as 'Paap (sin) League'.
Sidhu tweeted:
Navjot Singh Sidhu @sherryontopp
"In spite of all the scandals, betrayals & controversies, if the Parliament can still be sacrosanct, why call the #IPL ‘Paap League'"
Sidhu's comments could be considered as a breach of privilege of Parliamentarians. Janata Dal (United) chief Sharad Yadav and several other politicians had described IPL as den of corruption and sleaze.
