New Delhi: “I need to fine tune my batting but because of so many matches, I don't get time to do so, says under 19 cricket team captain Unmukt Chand.
In an inclusive interview India TV, Unmukt said that there is always scope for improving your batting but because of tight schedule, he hardly gets any time to fine tune his batting though he do seek advice of club coach as and when he gets time.
Under Unmukt leadership India won under 19 World championship thrashing Australia by eight wickets. He was also the member of the Under 23 team which won the Asian Cricket Council Emerging Teams Cup, thrashing Pakistan by nine wickets in the final.
On being asked if tips, given by West Indies great Vivian Richards during IPL, helped him Unmukt said, “I have not such a bold man in my life so far. I would like to imitate two qualities he has, self belief and self confidence.”
He said Pakistan had the best attack in Asia cup but somehow they could not live up to their talents in the final.
