Dubai: New Zealand's Tony Hill has stepped down from the ICC's elite panel of umpires and will join New Zealand Cricket in coaching umpires.
The 62-year-old stood in 40 test matches, 96 one-day internationals and 17 Twenty20s during 15 years of international umpiring.
He made his international umpiring debut in 1998 and his last appointment was as a TV umpire in the final Ashes test at Sydney.
Hill supervised in two World Cups (2007 and 2011), two Champions Trophies (2009 and 2013) and four World Twenty20s (2007, 2009, 2010, 2012).
