Haque, Iqbal half centuries pace Bangladesh

Chittgong, Bangladesh: Mominul Haque and Tamim Iqbal both struck half centuries to lead Bangladesh to 124-1 at lunch on the fourth day of the third test against Zimbabwe on Saturday.

   
Iqbal followed up his first-innings century with another dominant batting performance against Zimbabwe, sharing an unbeaten 88-run partnership with Haque.
   
Iqbal was unbeaten on 51 and Haque was on 54 at the break as Bangladesh took a commanding lead of 253 runs as it chases its first 3-0 series sweep.
   
Haque smashed seven fours to reach his eighth test fifty, while Iqbal had three fours in his 17th half century.
   
Imrul Kayes was the only batsman to fall in the morning session when Tinashe Panyangara (1-16) dismissed him on 16.
   
Bangladesh scored record 503 runs in its first innings before bowling out Zimbabwe for 374.
