New Delhi: Cricket icon Sachin Tendulakar attacked former India coach Greg Chappell and described him as a dictor who imposed his ideas on players.
Sachinin his autobiography “Playing It My Way” also called the veteran Australian cricketer as a 'ringmaster.'
Appointed coach of the national Indian cricket team in May 2005, Chappell had a controversial stint with the team. While his spats with then skipper Sourav Ganguly made headlines repeatedly, Tendulkar has now come out and criticised the former Aussie legend.
Sachin further says that Chappell wanted to remove Rahul Dravid from captaincy before world cup 2007 and offered him the post.
He said " Greg told him if he takes over captaincy from Dravid they together can control Indian cricket for years. "
