Kolkata: Kolkata's Eden Garden is making all preparations to make legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar's 199th cricket match a memorable one. Showering flowers on him from a helicopter is one of them.

Eden Gardens will host the opening match of the two-Test series against the West Indies from November 06 to 10. Second test will be played at Wankhede, Mumbai as per the wish of little master who belongs to Mumbai.

Flowers will be thrown on Sachin from a helicopter, a tableau will be there on Sachin's name and it will be inaugurated by our President and Minister of Sports, Mr Madan Muthu and a gold coin that will be used in the toss and later it will be gifted to Sachin Tendulkar,” said Joint Secretary, Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB), Sujan Mukherjee on Friday..

Though the festivity is already there in the atmosphere because of Diwali but  cricket fans here are closely watching the legend wherever he is involved in action. Earlier on Wednesday (October 30), Cricket fans lauded Indian batting maestro, Sachin Tendulkar for scoring a match-winning 79 in his last innings for Mumbai.

Playing his last Ranji trophy match against Haryana on Tuesday (October 29), Tendulkar remained unbeaten at 79 as Mumbai notched closer to the target of 240.

The other and may be the most important reason for sachin to choose Mumbai for his lastest is that his mother who never saw him play in a stadium, would  watch him play finally.

Tendulkar, who made his debut against Pakistan in 1989 as a sixteen-year old, has gone on to accumulate 15,837 runs in 198 tests and 18,246 runs in 463 one-day internationals. He holds almost all possible records.
