Captain Kapil Dev hit a record unbeaten innings of 175 off 138 balls against Zimbabwe, and brought India back into the reckoning in the World Cup as the Indians had lost the previous matches. The historic innings was made by Kapil Dev at Neville Ground, Tunbridge Wells, Kent, on June 18, 1983. India won the match by 31 runs. and then, Kapil's Devils became unstoppable.
