London, Sep 11: England sealed a series win over India after the fourth one-day international at Lord's on Sunday was abandoned as a draw because of rain.
Chasing a target of 281, Ravi Bopara's superb knock of 96 helped England reach 270-8 with seven balls remaining before rain forced the players off the field for the third time in the innings.
The match was eventually abandoned as a draw, with England level with the par score in the Duckworth-Lewis reading.
The hosts are 2-0 up in the five-match series and can't be caught heading into the final game, at Cardiff on Friday.
Suresh Raina (84) and Mahendra Singh Dhoni (78 not out) had earlier put on a flamboyant fifth-wicket stand of 169 as the Indians set a competitive target. AP
