New Delhi: India skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni has asked Indians to join him for the "1 hour of fitness" movement under "MSD4India" campaign.
The initiative by fitness brand Reebok is aimed at inspiring people to dedicate one hour from their busy schedules to get fit and adopt a better and healthier lifestyle.
In a video, Dhoni is seen asking India for one hour, "where one will feel their legs burning, their heart pumping and their lungs begging to stop but every minute of it would take them a step forward towards being fitter".
He added: "If you want to change your life, you just need to give only one hour to yourself. With this one hour of fitness, you will be able to prove to the world that there is no mountain you won't climb or no run you won't run.
“You can give all your hours to rest of your life but give this hour to yourself as it will change your life forever. I urge citizens across the country to join me and embrace the positive changes that daily fitness can bring about in their lives.”
www.msd4india.com will give access to Dhoni's customised fitness schedule and diet plans and much more through videos and images.
“This is not a campaign. I would call this a movement to 'change lives'. We wanted to do something that would connect with millions of people across the country, and inspire Indians to be fit for life,” Somdeb Basu, brand director at Reebok India, said in a statement.
