20:56 IST: Rayudu teed off with four and six against Avesh Khan in the 18th over, milking 14 runs from the over before smashing a six over deep extra cover against Nortje in the penultimate over as he neared his half-century.
20:36 IST: Dhoni and Rayudu have added a 25-run stand in 32 overs after the spinners rattled Chennai in the middle overs. However, their struggle continue as Chennai bat at a run a ball rate with 88 on board from 14 overs.

20:07 IST: WICKET! Second dismissal for Axar in the match as he removed Moeen for just 8.
19:55 IST: WICKET! Nortje removed the second Chennai opener, for just 13. And express delivery, banged short, and outside off as Gaikwad failed to execute the pull shot. The ball took the top edge and ballooned over square leg to fall safely into the hands of Ashwin.
19:45 IST: WICKET! Axar provided the early breakthrough for Delhi after a brisk start from the Chennai openers. The two clobbered 26 runs in the first 12 balls, included 16 runs off Nortje and 10 against Avesh. But Faf holed out the juicy short-pitched delivery from Axar to Shreyas Iyer at deep mid-wicket.
19:30 IST: Know all about Delhi's newbie Ripal Patel, who replaced injured Marcus Stoinis in the lineup - READ
19:06 IST: MS Dhoni - We were looking to bat first, but we were not 100% sure, the wicket seems to be tacky. We have got a few changes - Sam is out, Bravo is back, Chahar replaces Asif and Robin Uthappa replaces Suresh Raina, who has a back issue. We are trying to rest players who have some niggles, top-two is important, if you have a bad day in the qualifiers, you have another chance to make a comeback
19:05 IST: Rishabh Pant - We will bowl first. The wicket might do a bit early, so better bowling first. We just need to focus on the basics, continue doing what we have been doing, want to finish in the top two. Ripal Patel is making his debut, Smith goes out. He's a lower middle-order batsman who can bowl a few overs. Always great learning from him, but right now he's a rival, so focus is on the game.
19:04 IST: Here are the playing XI for the two teams...
Chennai Super Kings (Playing XI): Ruturaj Gaikwad, Faf du Plessis, Robin Uthappa, Moeen Ali, Ambati Rayudu, MS Dhoni(w/c), Ravindra Jadeja, Dwayne Bravo, Shardul Thakur, Deepak Chahar, Josh Hazlewood
Delhi Capitals (Playing XI): Prithvi Shaw, Shikhar Dhawan, Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant(w/c), Ripal Patel, Axar Patel, Shimron Hetmyer, Ravichandran Ashwin, Kagiso Rabada, Avesh Khan, Anrich Nortje
19:02 IST: TOSS UPDATE: Delhi Capitals won the toss and opted to bowl first against Chennai Super Kings in Dubai
18:56 IST: PITCH REPORT | We are using the same surface that the Sunrisers and the Knight Riders played yesterday. There is nothing wrong with the wicket - there is no great deal of spin available, the bounce and carry is consistent and the ball is coming on nicely. It's a pitch of two halves, in the first 10 overs, it's nice to bat on but then it might slow down, thereby challenging the batters. Make the most of the batting powerplay: Simon Doull and Matthew Hayden
