Ranchi: It was a fantastic all round performance by Chennai Super Kings at JSCA stadium complex today, when in the second match, Chennai super Kings posted a big total of 203 for Sunrisers Hyderabad to achieve.
Winning the toss, Sunrisers put CSK to bat. Murli Vijay again went for a duck. Mike Hussey contributed 23 runs in the second wicket partnership with Suresh Raina.
Suresh Raina scored 84 runs off 53 balls.
But the storm came when Dhoni scored 63 off 19 balls with 8 sixes.
Among bowlers, Dale Steyn was the most successful who picked two wickets. He took the crucial wicket of Raina in his four overs economical spell.
Chasing the total, Sunrisers fought well but fell short by 11 runs and they managed to score 191/7 in their 20 overs.
For Sunrisers, Shikhar Dhawan made 48 and Darren Sammy made a quick 50.
Man of the Match for the went to Suresh Raina for his 84 runs off 53 balls.
