Birmingham, Jun 12 : The crucial ICC Champions trophy match between Australia and New Zealand was abandoned on Wednesday after rain halted play, and the umpires called off the match.
Both teams got one point each, with the Kiwis now with 3 points, and Australian a single point.
Earlier, Australia gave a 244-run target to the Kiwis, by making 243 for 8 in 50 overs, with Voges making 71 and captain George Bailey 55 runs. McClenaghan tore through the Australian batting order with figures of 4 for 65.
In reply, New Zealand were 51 for 2 in 15 overs when rain stopped play.
