New Delhi, Apr 19: External Affairs Minister S M Krishna today said the Board of Cricket Control in India should decide when cricket ties with Pakistan can be resumed as the government couldn't "dictate" it to do so.
"That is something the BCCI will have to take a call. Government can only be a facilitator and it can't dictate to them as it is their domain," he told reporters here.
The Minister was asked about the expected time line for resumption of cricketing ties on which the decision was taken during the visit of Pakistan Prime Minister Yususf Raza Gilani here last month for the World Cup semifinal match in Mohali.
The Union Home Ministry is understood to have given in-principle approval to resumption of India-Pakistan cricket ties.PTI
