Vindoo told Mumbai police that he was introduced to Srinivasan's son-in-law Meiyappan nearly five years ago in Chennai by Anand Saxena, a Delhi-based bookie, and became friends with him. 



He told police he went to Chennai to watch a match, where he was photographed with CSK captain M S Dhoni's wife Sakshi. His visit to Chenna was on Meiyappan's invitation.

Vindoo revealed to police that he made several crores of rupees from betting on T20 matches, and his take-hom this season was nearly Rs 17 lakhs.
