New Delhi: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has initiated a probe into Team India's MS Dhoni's alleged conflict of interest involving his firm Rhiti Sports Management Pvt Ltd, according to a report published in Hindustan Times.
Rhiti Sports manages Doni's commercial interests as well as that of Suresh Raina and Ravindra Jadeja.
BCCI president Jagmohan Dalmiya, while confirming this development to HT, said that the three-member disciplinary committee is looking into the matter.
The three-member disciplinary committee comprises of National Cricket Club secretary KP Kajaria, Jyotiraditya Scindia and Dalmiya.
"We can only make an announcement about the outcome of the findings once the committee submits its report," Dalmiya was quoted as saying in the report.
Dhoni has 15 per cent shares in Rhiti, set up and run by his friend Arun Pandey.
The company also handles the marketing portfolio of Dhoni's IPL team Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and manages some key India players.
Dalmiya, after taking charge as BCCI's interim president in June that year, had promised that conflict of interest allegations against Dhoni will be looked into.
