Dhaka, Nov 8: Offspinner Sohag Gazi and medium-pacer Abul Hasan are the only uncapped players selected in Bangladesh's squad for the first test against West Indies next week.
Mushfiqur Rahim was retained as captain in the 14-player squad announced Thursday by selectors for the test, which starts Tuesday at Dhaka's Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium.
Chief Selector Akram Khan says the 20-year-old Hasan played four Twenty20 internationals for Bangladesh this year and has a good record of taking wickets at domestic level.
The 21-year-old Gazi has never played an international for Bangladesh but he has been described by Khan as a "genuine" offspinner who could play a significant role against West Indies.
The two sides will contest two tests, five one-day Internationals and a Twenty20 match.
