Islamabad: Pakistan's ODI captain Azhar Ali and opening batsman Mohammad Hafeez have refused to join a training camp after Mohammad Amir, who served a ban for spot fixing, was included, local media reported on Thursday.
Geo News says both Ali and Hafeez are not happy after the Pakistan Cricket Board decided to select Amir for the camp for next month's limited overs series against New Zealand.
Ali told Geo TV that he will not join the training camp as long as Amir is there, but he is willing to talk to top PCB management about the issue.
Hafeez also did not report to the camp and was the first to speak against Amir's recall when he refused to play alongside him for Chittagong Vikings in Bangladesh's Twenty20 league.
