Hobart, Australia: Australia has won the toss and decided to bat first Wednesday in the first of three Twenty20 matches to conclude England's tour of Australia.
Australia won the Ashes 5-0 and the one-day international series 4-1.
The teams will play the second T20 match Friday in Melbourne and the final game Sunday in Sydney.
