Ahead of the Asia Cup 2022, Sri Lanka's right-arm fast bowler Dushmantha Chameera has been ruled out of the squad due to a leg injury.
The 30-year-old Chameera sustained an injury on his left leg during the practice session of Team Sri Lanka.
Chameera has been replaced by Nuwan Thushara in the Sri Lankan squad.
Earlier, Sri Lanka had announced their team on Saturday minus Binura Fernando and Kasun Rajitha, who are also nursing injuries.

The 28-year-old Thusara made his debut in the month of February this year. He has played in four T20Is, so far and has picked up two wickets.
Sri Lanka are part of Group B in the tounament and they have their first match scheduled against Afghanistan in Dubai on the 27th of August. Their second match will be against Bangladesh on 1st September.
