Mumbai: While Team India vice captain Virat Kohli is busy knocking balls at the nets before the 1st test that starts from Tuesday against Australia, his close friend and actress Anushka Sharma has come out in open acknowledging they are in a relationship.
Anushka said her relationship with cricketer Virat Kohli is not a secret affair. It's just that she doesn't want to talk about it in public.
"Nobody is hiding anything. We are living our life very normally. It's just that we don't want to talk about our relationship.
"We can't subject it to entertainment news. We will not hide if you guys see us together, but we will not talk about it," Anushka told reporters in a group interview.
She also feels that she will only "talk to her friends" about her personal life and not "to the world".
Anushka who is currently busy promoting her film "PK".
Recently India's top batsman Virat Kohli has asked the public to use common sense on his much talked about relationship with actress Anushka Sharma, saying they indeed are seeing each other and their privacy should be respected.
"It is out in the open (Jo hai sabke saamne hai abhi). We are not hiding anything, we are not trying to hide anything. I don't want to hide anything. But if you get repeatedly asked on the same thing and if it is made a matter of debate then both the individuals don't feel it is right," said Kohli.
Kohli said it was already obvious that he and Anushka were in a relationship and people should not be curious about them anymore.
"If you are seen together somewhere and still people ask 'is it confirmed?', then it is a matter of common sense. If you know then why ask the same question, that is our basic logic behind it. It is not something wrong apparently for people that we are doing.
