Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates: Afghanistan qualified for its third successive final of the World Twenty20 qualifiers when it defeated Nepal by 7 wickets in the semifinals on Friday.
Afghanistan will take on Ireland in Saturday's final after the Irish recorded a convincing 62-run win over United Arab Emirates.
Samiullah Shenwari's 3-19 helped Afghanistan restrict Nepal to 90-8, with Sharad Vesawkar scoring an unbeaten 27.
Shenwari then scored an unbeaten 24 as Afghanistan raced to 96-3 off 14.2 overs.
Ireland's fast bowlers Max Sorensen (4-15) and Tim Murtagh (4-24) bowled out UAE for 85 after veteran Trent Johnston hit a breezy 35 off 18 balls to lift his team to 147-8.
Afghanistan captain Mohammad Nabi said "we will try our best tomorrow because last time Ireland played very well in the final."
