Thiruvananthapuram, Oct 17 (PTI):The cancellation of the one-day ODI between India and Australia slated for today in Kochi due to heavy rains has sparked a row with former BCCI secretary S K Nair blaming the Kerala Cricket Assoication (KCA) for its failure to anticipate situations like this and take precautionary measures.
Sharing the disappointment of the fans who thronged in thousands to see the match, Nair said if the match failed to take off it could be mainly due to the flaws in the drainage system at the Jawaharlal Nehru International stadium.
"However, the KCA should have anticipated this problem and put in place effective measures to overcome this problem", Nair told television channels. PTI
