But Sachin loved playing fast bowlers in England. He scored 7 tons and 13 half centuries. 193 was his highest.Against South AfricaSouth African cricket is all about bounce and pace. Against PakistanPakistan is the country Sachin made his debut against in 1989. He always rose to the occasion when playing against Pakistan. His 136 in a losing match in 1998 at Chepauk and 98 at Centurion and unbeaten 194 in Multan are stark reminders. Sachin played 18 matches against arch rivals, scoring 1057 runs at an average of 42.48 that includes two hundreds and seven fifties. Against Sri LankaThe islanders many a time got the better of India on their home turf. There used to be an interesting battle with spin master Mutthiah Muralitharan in the early phase of his career and later with Ajantha Mendis.Sachin played 25 matches against Sri Lanka, scoring 1995 runs at an average of 60.45 with nine hundreds and six fifties. Against BangladeshSachin scored his highest score in test cricket 248 not out at Dhaka in 2004.
