New Delhi: Mahendra Singh Dhoni completed 8 years as a India's most successful skipper as he has been the backbone of India's success in the past 8 years. Dhoni has a couple of admirable characteristic as an ODI leader.

He has carried India to victory so many times through his mental strong performance.  

He made his debut in 2004/05 against Bangladesh for starting his career in One Day International. He has every major trophy in his cabinet.

1.It was in 2007 when MS Dhoni was selected as a captain of Team India to lead in T20 World Cup. It was under his brilliant captaincy that India won the inaugural T20 World Cup of 2007.

3.In 2013, under Dhoni's command India turn out to be the first team in more than 40 years to whitewash Australia in a test series.
