New Delhi: Team India is in England and is ready to kick start their first test match against England on July 9. However their last outing to England was something that everyone would like to forget in which they lost 4-0 and were humiliated by the English team and the Media. Dhoni's new and young brigade will be looking to avenge that defeat give the Indians something to cheer about.

Besides this, skipper Dhoni would also like to improve his captaincy record in foreign soil as his recent records in foreign tours are more than worse. Half of Team India is touring England for the first time ever but the question is that will lack of experience affect in the team's performance or the skills they have will worry English players.

Let's take a look on the key Indian players who may be a good gamble in England.

SHIKHAR DHAWAN

After scoring the fastest ever century by a debutant in Test cricket last year, he hasn't exactly lived up to those expectations in the longer format. The home series against West Indies is something he'd want to forget. The tour to South Africa wasn't much better either. But he showed promise when he made much awaited 115 in New Zealand. A lot will be expected from him when he opens for India against the likes of Stuart Broad and James Anderson.
