New Delhi: This year's Ranji Trophy Tournament saw some very interesting players. Most of the batsmen in the top run getters are from states not considered powerhouses in domestic cricket. Here is the list.Kedar Jadhav

Jiwanjot  Singh (Punjab)

He is a right-hand opening batsman. Jiwanjot made his first class debut in 2012/13 against Hyderabad. On debut he scored 213. In the next game against Bengal, he made 158.  He finished the season with 995 runs from 10 matches with five hundreds and two fifties at an average of 66.33.

In this  season he scored 802 runs in 10 matches at an average of 47.17. He hit two hundreds and four fifties. 200 was his highest.
