Kolkata: England and West Indies are set clash at the Eden Gardens as they aim to become the first team to win the World T20 title twice.
Both teams have lost one match in the tournament. While West Indies faced an unexpected defeat from Afghanistan, English team lost to Caribbeans after Chris Gayle's blistering 48-ball century in the qualifiers.
Both teams are former champions with West Indies clinching the title in 2012 and England beating Australia to win the title in 2010. Before the final on Sunday, West Indies captain Darren Sammy and England skipper Eoin Morgan attended the trophy unveiling ceremony at the Eden Gardens.
After the photos were done, Sammy tried snatching the trophy from Morgan. He did mange to take it and Morgan was left smiling. Morgan and his team have a chance to keep the trophy to themselves by beating West Indies in the final and vice-versa.
All eyes will be on Chris Gayle who is popular among the Indian crowd due to his presence in the IPL, like all other West Indies cricketers.
