Captain Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan surely make the coolest pair in the Indian cricket team. Both are true-blue Delhiites and are always up for some Bhangra! In Cape Town for the first of the three-match Test series against South Africa, Kohli and Dhawan went for a stroll near the V&A Waterfront where a street band was playing some local music.
After shaking their legs to the beats of the local music, Kohli and Dhawan couldn't stop their urge to do some Desi moves and started doing Bhangra. In fact, as can be seen in the video, it seems that it was Kohli's idea to do Bhangra. Dhawan's son Zoravar was also seen joining the duo.
Meanwhile, the Kohli-led Indian cricket team was forced to practice indoors due to a wet outfield at the Newlands Cricket Ground in Cape Town. Indian Cricket Team shared some of the pictures from the practice session ahead of the first Test, be held in Cape Town from January 5 to 9. "And we've moved indoors for the training session #TeamIndia," Indian Cricket Team wrote on Instagram.
India will play three Tests, six ODIs and three T20Is in the Rainbow Nation. India have never won a Test series in South Africa, having toured the country since 1992 and the current team has 13 players, who were in during the last tour in 2013-14.
The Indian captain had earlier said that the quality in his side's line-up gives him the confidence of winning the series. Kohli said his batsmen are well aware of what to expect and they have the mindset to adapt to conditions which will be pace-bowling friendly.
