Rahul took to Instagram to share his conversation with the footballer, His caption read,'Swipe left to watch me discuss Cricket and Football with the Champion - @nglkante. We spoke about his World Cup Experience, how he started off and made his way up here. He wasn’t really happy that I ain’t a Chelsea fan though. Really Humble Guy. Respect!"
The Indian cricket team currently trail 1-2 in the five-match Test series. However, after a dominating performance in the 3rd Test at Nottingham, the Virat Kohli led Team India will hope to carry the momentum onto the 4th Test at Southampton.
Rahul has had a poor run so far, notching up just 4, 13, 8, 10, 23 and 36 runs in his previous innings.
The batsman will however hope to improve in the 4th Test against England which will be hosted at Southampton, starting from August 30.
Coming on to football, the Chelsea midfielder has been the man to look out for since he won the historic Premier League with Leicester City in the 2015/16 season and the 2016/17 season with the London club. Under their new manager Maurizzio Sarri, Chelsea have started their season with two wins, including a thriller against rivals Arsenal where they won 3-2 last week.
