Shahrukh Khan in action during the Tamil Nadu Premier League

It's not everyday fans gets to witness some high flying action, especially in cricket, but it was this sensational and astonishing catch by Shahrukh Khan which left all present at the stadium dumbfounded and flabbergasted. 

Shahrukh, who plays for Lyca Kovai Kings in the domestic T20 Tamil Nadu Premier League, pulled off a sensational catch near the boundary line to dismiss middle-order batsman Rajhamany Srinivasan from Karaikudi Kaalai for 12 off a delivery by Prasanth Rajesh. 

Not only was the catch one of the highlights of the match, but the clash also ended in a tie after Kaalai opted to bat first as they managed to notch up a challenging target of 162/7 but the Kings gave it their all to make an impressive comeback to score 162/6 in 20 overs.

Twitter was sent into a different frenzy after witnessing Shahrukh pull off an astonishing catch during the intense clash. Watch.

During the chase, Shahrukh scored a blistering 32 off 20 deliveries, however, his breathtaking catch is surely one in the history books. 

The 23-year old all-rounder plays for Tamil Nadu in the Ranji Trophy.
