The players also took out some time to joke around as well.

As the Men in Blue gear up for the final match of the tour, former captain MS Dhoni was one of the first players to hit the nets on Thursday as Virat Kohli and Co. prepare for the series decider against Australia at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground.

Dhoni was seen practising some hard hits at the net session and was later joined by a teammate. Take a look.

The BCCI also shared the #10yearchallenge on behalf of the former skipper. Notice any changes?

Leggie Yuzvendra Chahal took to social media to share a light-hearted moment during net session at the G. Take a look.

Dhoni showed his much-acclaimed finishing prowess during the second ODI as he led India to level the series with his gritty fifty.

Dhoni and Kohli put on an 82-run stand for the fourth wicket before the latter fell for 104 -- his 39th ODI century and 24th while chasing in one-day cricket.

Dhoni has been criticised for his slow innings lately and despite his fifty in Sydney, his effort off 96 balls came under the scanner.

But, the knock in Sydney would come as a welcome change and it was appreciated by many.

The third and final ODI will be played in Melbourne on January 18.
